Antigua & Barbuda Centre for Dyslexia Awareness (ABCDA)
A nonprofit organization providing specialized support to children living with dyslexia in Antigua and Barbuda. ABCDA offers screening assessments, tutoring, and scholarship assistance so that children of families that could not otherwise afford help are not left behind. Its emphasis on early identification and intervention gives children the coping strategies they need to learn, achieve, and reach their full potential. Without the Centre, many children with learning difficulties would simply fall through the cracks. ABCDA is based at the corner of Bendals and All Saints Roads.

The intensive, fully funded training is delivered by The King’s Foundation, His Majesty King Charles III’s charity, in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies. Participants gain hands-on experience in carpentry, masonry, lime work, heritage restoration, and climate-resilient construction, skills they can apply in their communities once they return home.
